I’ve always loved learning and writing about how stuff works. Inspired by my son’s work in city planning and my own career in technology-driven storytelling, this blog tells the stories of passionate, innovative people engaged in modernizing and transforming the nation’s physical and digital infrastructure.

My goal is to educate readers — in clear, simple terms — about evolving infrastructure issues that matter in their daily lives, as told through the personal and professional experiences of experts in infrastructure. Everyone has a story to tell, and each of these people is making significant contributions to their own industry.
